I enjoy experimenting with various digital tools and gadgets, but I also appreciate working with more traditional mediums, as they make me feel more connected to what I'm doing, especially because a mistake can’t be erased that easily- especially when working with paint or ink.
I’ve been drawing and creating since childhood, using it as an escape from a difficult upbringing shaped by autism and ADHD. I could never sit still—except when I was drawing or spending time in my grandfather’s workshop.
Creativity runs in my family. Many of my relatives paint, play instruments, or build things, and that creative environment shaped me deeply. I was constantly drawing when I wasn’t off running or cycling on some adventure—often without my parents knowing where I’d gone. I also spent countless hours in my grandfather’s workshop, where he built boats. I’d collect scraps of wood lying around and make miniature boats of my own. I loved working with my hands—building, shaping, and making things. I also played with Fimo clay, creating small figurines, pendants, and necklaces.
In my teens, as the digital age started to mature, I got my first drawing tablet. I used it obsessively until the iPad Pro came along, which offered the convenience of creating anywhere—without lugging around a laptop and a wired digitizer.
In early adulthood, I discovered photography. I was spending a lot of time in Sweden then, in a house without internet, so I threw myself into learning the technical side of the craft. Later, I landed an internship with a professional photographer. We worked on a wide range of assignments, and it was there I learned not just practical skills, but also how to connect with people through the lens. Photography has been a core part of my creative life ever since.
